Welcome! The Ankeny Area Quilters' Guild is a non-profit organization open to all with an appreciation for quilting. Join us at our monthly meetings featuring locally and nationally known speakers and an opportunity to meet and enjoy the work of other area quilters.
The Ankeny Area Quilters' Guild is over 175 members strong and growing! Visitors are welcomed at our meetings and new members encouraged!

Join Jeanne Coverdale for a trunk show & lecture on her journey to creating Block Party Studios, the unique source for hand printed quilting fabric located in Nevada, Iowa.
After working in other areas Jeanne began dabbling in screen printing, beginning in a class offered at the Memorial Union on the ISU campus. She started her own business in the back of a shop in Nevada, and went on to build her own "garage" to house the business. They've been outgrowing buildings since and moved into their current place in 2005. It's a large building with retail space, offices, a warehouse, and an area to print the fabric.
On Saturday, February 13th, we'll be taking a field trip to see behind the scenes at Block Party Studio. There's no fee to guild members to take the tour.

Come join us for our annual RETREAT held April 22-25, 2010 at the Christian Conference Center in Newton, Iowa. This event is filled with fun and camaraderie. Cost includes meals, a room to share with your friends and shower and bathroom facilities in each room.
